For those who want a comfortable DOS, or for backup & restore.
Works on SUBSTed, but not (yet) on ASSIGNed and JOINed drives.
Full support of Unicode conversion and even DBCS (Double Byte Character Set, ie. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, also abbrev. CJK) code pages.
Supports LFN in Windows 3.x, its file manager (BETA!) and protected mode too.
Small footprint of about 16 Kbytes, for CJK users 32~64 KB due to larger Unicode table.
Runs with almost all programs, esp. file managers and archivers, if they accept LFNs when no Win9x is running.
No LFN support for Windows 3.11 networked drives, a FallBack mode guarantees a functional LFN API.
For Joliet CDROMs you must use SHSUCDX 3.02+ (another version is available for MSCDEX).
