Always Visible is an adventure platformer built around Portuguese vocabulary practice. Delia Yonce receives a message from her pen pal Tiago in Lisbon: the Farol da Palavra lighthouse has gone dark, and a grey fog is spreading across Portugal, messing with people's memories. A lantern from Portugal glows when Delia reads Portuguese words. She practises in York, then travels to meet Tiago, crossing towns, forests and coastlines to clock who's behind the fog. Along the way, she searches for stones marked with the right words and dodges fog spirits in her path. In Lisbon, Tiago explains that the Fog King calls the shots, while his spirits swipe familiar names. In Porto, Delia meets Captain Rosa and returns names to bridges, boats and streets. In Sintra, she helps the gardener Duarte name trees and flowers, then talks with Marta by the coast. Places introduce words about food, towns, nature and the sea. The island's lighthouse keeper, Inês, sends Delia to the Fog King. Answers relight the beacon, guiding ships home. Word lists cover light, family and numbers. Children match Portuguese words to meanings; some tasks include pronunciation cues. Dialogue is in English. Delia becomes a light that is always visible at sea.
