Server Pulse is a free, ultra-lightweight server monitoring tool designed for administrators who need immediate visibility without complexity, agents, or data exposure. Running on Windows and built with PowerShell combined with a local web interface, it can be deployed in under one minute and operates entirely within your own infrastructure. No cloud, no external dependencies, and no data leaving your network.

The application provides real-time monitoring of both network availability and application health, allowing you to supervise servers, services, and internal resources in total privacy. Its configuration is intentionally simple and relies on a single sites.txt file, where each monitored target can be adapted to real-world constraints such as ICMP-blocked servers, non-web services like Active Directory, or fully hidden internal endpoints. Server Pulse continuously scans your infrastructure and clearly reports its status through intuitive indicators. A server is shown as fully operational when it responds according to the configured checks, flagged with a warning when partial degradation is detected, marked offline when unreachable, or displayed as not applicable when monitoring has been intentionally disabled. This clarity allows administrators to immediately distinguish between network issues, application failures, and expected limitations.

The web dashboard is designed for efficiency and rapid decision-making. Critical servers can be pinned to the top of the interface, sound alerts can be muted when needed, and direct links allow instant access to monitored services. A built-in trend graph visualizes uptime history, clearly separating network health from application health, helping teams identify recurring issues or gradual degradation over time.
