PCLTool SDK is the only product on the market that converts bitmap HP fonts into TrueType fonts to embed in the converted PDF's.

PCLTool SDK - Option III is ideal for those who need to capture and convert legacy PCL print streams into a PDF, PDF/A or XPS file formats. Unlike Option V, it does not allow for custom script programming to split or edit the PCL while transforming them into PDF, PDF/A or XPS formats. Option III can extract text from virtually any PCL file - even ones with scrambled text or rasterized text (with 1-2 hrs. of OCR process). PCLTool SDK - Option III evolved from one of our first PCL to PDF conversion programs. It's actually PCLXForm using a standard conversion script. If you later find the need to customize the transformation process, like add logos, barcodes or OMR marks - you can always upgrade to Option V or Option I - if you find the need to write your own custom .exe.
