The ccDevnet Data Access Server provides an out of the box middle-tier server for creating modern, robust, scalable business apps that require native clients for Windows, iOS and Andriod and provides support for the Firebird and SQL Server databases as well as for server side files and external feeds such as machinery connected to the server. It also supports server side objects to give each installations of the server a unique character.

The full developer setup comes with a copy of the Data Access Server itself, which runs as a services, and a set of c# libraries to make it easy for the developers to create apps.

Also included in the full setup are three sample apps with sources code in c#.

The SME/Educational version is priced at $659 for unlimited installations of the server, where an SME is defined as a business with less than 25 employees.

There is no need for development managers to hire expensive consultancy resources to help manage the communications between the client and the server. The Data Access Server does it all for you.
